In an effort to make our wounds system more realistic than that of other boards (I won't mention any names...) Mulping has been so kind as to dream up a new system.

Let me elucidate...

Let's say you get 20 damage (Light Wounds) you will naturally heal 5 damage points a day (real-time). So with no medicinal items you will heal in 4 days.

If you use one med pack a day you will heal in 2 days because med packs add 5 more to the amount you heal in a day.

If you have a med droid it has the same effect as a med pack you just don't have to by a new one every day. You can also use a med droid with a med pack increasing your healing to 15 damage points a day.

If you've got a Bacta Tank you'll need to purchase doses of Bacta (Each dose supplying a bacta tank for a day) and you've got the opportunity to purchase it at reduced prices if you're good at bargaining. Anyway if you use a bacta tank you can't use a med droid or med pack in conjunction but with the bacta tank you'll heal 20 damage points a day plus your natural 5 a day for a total of 25 a day. So good stuff.

Also if you get near death wounds, which means basically you're dead or almost dead, we're going to take 5 xp from every skill except force strength. So don't get your character into insane situations because there are repercussions.

One more reminder just to make sure everyone gets it:

IF YOU RECEIVE NEAR DEATH WOUNDS YOU LOSE 5 XP FROM EVERY SKILL EXCEPT FORCE STRENGTH PERMANENTLY. Meaning it is gone forever. Of course you can replace lost xp through battles, sabaac, missions, etc... but the point is there is a permanent consequence for say walking into a room full of 20 stormtroopers and thinking you can take all of them. You need to be realistic.

Repairing Vehicles and Starships

Without any repair droids vehicles can be repaired at the rate of 10 damage points a day and starships at a rate of 20 damage points a day. The various repair droids add to the amount of damage points that can be repaired in a day, but a droid can only be used on one vehicle/vessel at a time.

Life and Death

Life

To live in the "galaxy" you must 'post'. Posting is when you respond to a previously posted topic or make your own. We use the ezboard format to role-play. To start a new topic and therefore a new role-play you enter a forum and click on the "New Topic" button. Then that takes you to an empty template. There you type in your Topic and what you want to say (i.e. what you character does). If you still don't understand that's okay because now I don't either. Just go to our ezboard and look around.

Death

Your character can die if you want him to die. But it's hard to do. To kill someone you must first capture them after a battle or injure them to near death. Once you have captured them you then must announce that you are going to kill them in OOC (with sharks that have laser beams or something). Then before you can kill them someone will probably try to save them. If they fail and you fill out the murder anyway that character meets the 'Angel of Death'. If he defeats the 'Angel' he lives if not he dies (The angel is speaking to an admin about the situation).

If your character has near death injuries he must get medical help within 6 days or he meets the 'Angel' extenuating circumstance will of course be taken into account.
